The Great Wedding & Portrait Escape
For nearly a decade, I was in the trenches of event photography—shooting weddings, family portraits, and everything in between. While I loved capturing those special moments for people, the reality of the job eventually caught up with me: endless restrictions, rigid bookings made two years in advance, and hauling 10 kilograms of heavy camera gear around on my back for 14 hours straight every other weekend.
Eventually, my back (and my soul) said, „Enough!“ I decided to officially retire from the wedding craze and pivot 100% to what truly makes my heart sing: pure, unadulterated landscape and detail photography. Now, the only client demanding my time is Mother Nature—and she’s a lot quieter!
Hunting for the Little Things
Today, I don’t just see a scenic view; I see a story waiting to be told—or at the very least, a insanely interesting piece of moss in an inconspicuous corner that everyone else walked right past. I love hunting for those quiet, easily overlooked moments in nature and bringing them front and center.
The Digital Toolchest
Now, let’s address the digital elephant in the room: image processing. Some photographers treat editing like a dark secret, but I view modern tools as an extension of my creative expression. I love spending time refining a shot to bring out the exact mood and atmosphere I felt when taking it—all while keeping things rooted in real-life beauty, not alien sci-fi fantasy!
Passion is Contagious
